10 August 2023. In a radical move, Maldens Universe announced that all the human characters in the breakthrough game Bidness would be replaced by animals. When questioned, Joe Malden, Founder and CEO of Maldens Universe, replied, "People want to play games with animals in them. Once we figured out how to draw them, this change was inevitable."

Jessie, the instantly recognizable blue-haired engineer from the original game has landed on her feet quickly. "It was a shock at first, but I, and all of my fellow engineers and marketers, have started a new AI firm, FettucineGPT, focused on generative 3D printed pasta."

The game's crack legal staff are rumoured to be in Austin, TX where they are serving as in-house counsel for an undisclosed cloud computing company.

In addition to all new artwork, the game rules have been streamlined to make the game easier to learn and manufacture. There is a new online version as well.
